Bio – Scott Embree

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Scott moved to Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario before moving to Sackville in 1986 to attend Mount Allison University (B.Comm 1990) In September of 1990, Scott began his insurance career with Sears Insurance. He has held many hats in the office and with his strong computer background and vision on the future, Scott handled all aspects of technology within the office. In 1996, Scott became a Managing Partner along with Wayne Cummings. With moving the office forward, new locations, increase number of staff – Sears insurance has prospered. In 2012, Scott purchased Wayne’s shares as he retired. Scott continuelly looks for new opportunities and clients and specializes in assisting the “hard to write” classes of business.

Insurance Brokers Association of New Brunswick – Director Greater Sackville Chamber of Commerce – Director Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation – Director and Chairman Tantramar Regional Civic Centre – Director Sackville Golf and Country Club – Director Insurance Community Action Network – Member Insurance Bureau of Canada – committee special projects Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce – Member Scott is an active coach in the community. He has coached youth hockey since 1988 and has coached soccer for the Marshview Middle School girls and boys teams and teams for the Sackville Youth Soccer Association. Scott is a supporter of all sports. As a young person, Scott played hockey, soccer, basketball, rugby and tennis and found playing sports to be very beneficial. Scott strongly believes in supporting the youth of our community and feels that the more we (as residents of South East New Brunswick area) support local business, the more they can, in turn, support the local community and youth and employ local residents. Scott resides here with his wife Lisa where they have raised their four children.
